I'm kind of annoyed. We know that Rodney had friends over last night, made a lot of dishes and didn't clean them up last night, which is fine. But then he didn't bother washing them today even though he said he has nothing to do and has been laying in his room with Isaiah all day. It just feels rude to me because other people use the kitchen too and would like it to be cleaner. Probably someone else should bring it up because if it's coming from you, Rodney doesn't want to hear it because you have a lot more privilege. She has treats and cat nip that I sometimes put on her scratcher. Brush her if you can!

I also thought about softness and one of the things I like about Hispanic people is they seem to have an abundance of softness. I notice it in interactions in public with strangers. With white people, they tend to be really harsh and distant, but Spanish people are not so afraid of a stranger. A stranger is more like just another human being who they feel comfortable talking to and being close to. That's what it is. I think in general Spanish people are better at humanizing people because they have a warmer culture.
