Yeah, before I took VSL it had been a long time since I didn't have blood. None of the medications my gastroenterologist gave me worked so I stopped taking them. I was on a mesalamine suppository and when that didn't work he prescribed a steroid enema and that just made it worse.

The only other option he mentioned would be surgery to remove my colon, but that's pretty drastic considering I have mild ulcerative proctitis and that's reserved usually for Crohn's or severe colitis!

Thankfully my condition does not increase the risk of colon cancer. And the likelihood of it progressing to to colitis is low.

Aw man, that is pretty bad. People with active colitis have cramping and really bloody diarrhea. They can become anemic easily.
I think eating healthily will help too. Right now I'm doing well. I want to keep taking probiotics for a while to make sure everything stays good.

My emotions definitely affect my GI system. Like I sometimes have to poop when I'm nervous. But also, when I'm happier, I poop more. I think cuddling after you made me feel really good and that's why I'm pooping so much now!

So my friend Robyn who is a yogi is really cool. She's telling me how she's not gonna wear a bra anymore. She's letting her hair down and wearing more free flowing clothing. I think that is so cool! As women, we're so used to discomfort, that we don't notice it. Everything is uncomfortable, bras, high heels, clothing, having periods. I am so used to it that I don't notice it. But since talking to her I realized my chest hurts from the wires in my bra digging into it. I just don't ever pay attention to that.

I want to change my wardrobe too to have clothing that looks good without bras that push my boobs up. I want more relaxed clothing!

I have a comfortable bra without wires, but it doesn't make my chest look the same. But if I wore hippy-type clothing, that wouldn't matter!

Of course, changing wardrobe is expensive, so that will have to happen slowly.

I improved in my Farmer's carry too. Gym was packed so I had to use the squat machine that's on a track so even though I did more with squat I can't say that that counts.

Also I did chin ups with only 40 lbs assistance.
